This is a workshop solely designed for you to make a kookaburra or frogmouth.

Once fired they can be placed on a deck, tree or simply display them on a log made in clay!

Price includes clay, bisque firing, glazing and Raku firing.

Broadening the possibilities of our much-loved Cockatoo Workshop, we are adding smaller cousin to our traditional "white" cockatoo - the red-tailed, glossy black variety.

Participants will the basics of using slabs and templates to create these lovable, albeit noisy visitors to our back yards.

Now one of our most popular workshops — second only to the Bathing Beauties — the Hares in Clay class continues to delight. There’s something irresistible about these expressive little characters.

You’ll learn how to construct your own hare using slab and coil techniques, shaping and refining the form as it comes to life in your hands. Once formed, we’ll enhance the surface with oxides and dry glazes to add warmth, texture, and character.

In this hands-on clay workshop, you’ll sculpt your very own fox.  With sharp eyes, a lively expression, and that signature busy tail, your fox will quickly take on a personality of its own.

Foxes are full of spirit, character, and charm — and as you create, you’ll find a little of that energy weaving its way into your work. Once sculpted, you’ll apply underglaze to bring your fox to life, with final glazing completed during the workshop.

Whether you’re new to clay or an experienced maker, this workshop is a fun, creative way to explore the art of sculpture and take home a piece that’s uniquely yours. Price includes clay, mid firing and glazing.

This much-loved and often-requested cow workshop is back — with a gorgeous new addition: the seated Highland Cow 🐮

Our classic Moolaney cow is still very much on the menu, so you can choose your favourite (or the one that speaks to you most!).

You’ll be guided step-by-step through creating your chosen piece, learning how to shape the clay and apply oxides and underglazes to bring your Highland cow to life.
