Last day in Scotland, caught the ferry to Mull Island - what an absolutely amazing experience! Overnight in The Lakes District - it’s been 26 years since I’ve been to Beatrix Potters house, still as quaint as ever ❤️
We boarded the Hogwarts Express steam train on platform 9 3/4, from Fort William to Mallaig, the West Highland line 😁 (The Jacobite) amazing steam train ride. On our stop for lunch we jumped on the old MV Western Isles wooden boat for an amazing adventure up the Loch. Dolphins, seals and sea birds plus porpoises ! Then stoped at magnificent mountains of Glencoe, walked to the spot where Tess and Thaine were married 🥰 a very special place❤️

We’re in northwest Scotland, staying in the village of Rhu, Helensburgh. Took the ferry to Mull of Kintyre, stood in the place where Paul McCartney filmed Mull of Kintyre, drove to Campbell town where the statue of Linda McCartney is. Walked the 600 steps up to Dumbarton Castle with a 10km walk 😁 The countryside is stunning ❤️
A visit to Cape Clear Island, was the highlight of our Ireland trip so far! Spectacular walks around the island, then a boat trip to Fasnet Lighthouse 10km off shore in the Atlantic Ocean. We leave for Scotland tomorrow, I’ll miss you Ireland, thanks for the memories

From Southern Ireland to one of the most Northern places in the Wild Atlantic Way - Achill Island. With a stop over at Ballina to attend the opening night ‘Overflow’ with Joolie Gibbs and Miriam Innes, both artists are from Gympie! Overnight at Galway, fabulous night life in the Latin Quarter!

Loving Ireland! We’re now staying in Brownstown Head, the view from our dinning table is spectacular! We have our own private walk to the Pillars and around the cliffs. Spent the morning at Dunmore East fishing village, then visited a mystical forest walk to Ballysaggartmore Towers, amazing place!

Loving Dublin, so much to see and discover. Explored the coastal village of Howth. We walked the 7km spectacular Howth cliff walk down to the lighthouse. Beautiful wild flowers everywhere. Drove through The Bowne Valley loop, with its medieval castles and Abey ruins, in the most beautiful lush countryside . ❤️❤️
