Loved the Bathing Beauties workshop. Cathy is very encouraging and helpful and, for a beginner, I learned a lot of techniques in clay sculpture. I will definitely do another workshop with Cathy. Cathy is a brilliant teacher and allowed us our own creativity while giving us structure and guidance about our pieces. I am amazed what I could create in a few hours. I always leave with the 'hugest' smile on my face having made new friends, created some pottery and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Such a feeling of accomplishment ! And your assistance is always appreciated, I love your casual and friendly attitude and your knowledge working with clay. I'm hooked. Having never touched a wad of clay in my life, I didn't have high expectations of what I might achieve. But I'm absolutely delighted with my earth goddess. She's gorgeous. Cathy is so clever, so patient...and really enjoyed the group experience as well. We all surprised ourselves with what we were able to achieve. We were a group of 8 ladies enjoying a girls weekend in Montville & attended a private workshop. No one had more experience then trying clay at school in art class. We all had a fantastic time with great results. Cathy was very patient and put us at ease when working with the clay. We also enjoyed a lovely homemade quiche & salads for lunch. I would thoroughly recommend Fried Mudd.
